Academic Writing is designed to develop and sharpen students’ academic and scientific writing skills as well as strategies in English. It substantially covers the areas of scientific written communication that master students need to be equipped in order to successfully conduct their research, including how to write cohesive and coherent sentences and paragraphs, how to effectively write typical elements of a research paper, a research proposal, and a dissertation.
Course description:
The course "Academic Writing" introduces the participants various types of scientific literature, writing styles, steps for conducting academic writing, editing scientific texts, using resources, and citing documents to help them master and effectively practice writing the types of scientific literature needed in the course of their study, work and research.
